Welcome to the 34th
Annual Canal Run 2009 Web site!
The Canal Run and 10 Mile
Walk is held along the Portage Waterway on Highway
M-203. Both the 10 Mile Run and the 10 Mile Walk start
at McLain State Park and finish at Citizen's Bank
building in Hancock. The 5 Mile Run starts near High
Point Road in Hancock. The course is not closed to
traffic. Participants are asked to run along side of the
road. Water stops and aid stations will be set along the
length of the course, at miles 2, 5, 7, 9 and 9.5.
Timing chips will be worn at the event provided by
ITiming. |
