How do I get to the start of the race? 

Shuttle services are provided from Citizen’s Bank in Hancock to McLain State Park (Start for 10 mile) and High Point Road (Start for 5 mile).  Please allow an ample amount of time to get to the race start and register before the race.  The shuttle will leave every 20 minutes beginning at 6:00 a.m.  The last ride will leave at 7:20 a.m.   

When and where will awards be given?

The awards ceremony will take place at the race finish, and will begin when all participants finish
(approximately 11:30 a.m. est.)

What is the running surface?

The race takes place on a paved highway.   

Are there aid stations along the way?

Yes, there will be aid stations throughout the race, as well as medical professionals leading and following the participants.  Water and Powerade will be provided at all aid stations.   

Are there any giveaways for participants? 

Each participant will receive a t-shirt and snacks following the race.  A pair of running shoes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers, donated by Quincy Footwear.   

What other activities are there to participate in throughout the weekend? 

The Hancock Business & Professionals Association will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, July 17 from 5-8 p.m.  Raffles and live music provided! 

A Community Expo will be held following the race on the lawn near Citizen’s Bank.  All are encouraged to visit local vendors, eat or enjoy a massage!

When will I be able to pick up my race packet?

Race packets will be available on Friday evening 5-8 p.m. at the Spaghetti Dinner (at Finlandia University’s Finlandia Hall).  Race packets will also be available on Saturday morning at registration, which will be at the race start.
